Reward Trip Guidelines

August 3, 2016

Dear Parents,

Isn’t it hard to believe we are beginning another school year already? We are looking forward to spending this year with your child. Before long, it will be time to celebrate the end of another fantastic year of school! We are planning to take a reward trip later in the school year. This will be a time for us to celebrate those students who have had appropriate behavior throughout the school year. To qualify for this trip, students must not have any of the following conditions: had one grade of “U” in conduct on the report card, had corporal punishment administered, had tobacco products at school, been sent to A/BIC, been suspended from school, been sent to in-school suspension or alternative placement outside of the classroom for misbehavior, had removal of bus privileges, had 5 or more days of lunchroom detention, or had 15 or more absences— excused or unexcused, with the exception of long-term illness or surgery. All students participating must provide their own payment for the trip. Although parents may wish to participate in field trips, this will be a school function, and only school personnel will be taken as chaperones. If you have questions, feel free to contact us at 422-6470. You may also email us at the addresses provided on the school’s webpage.

Thank you,

6 th Grade Teachers
