About Mr. Bolling

Hello Mosheim,
My name is Joshua Bolling, general music teacher K-5.  I have been teaching music at Mosheim School for 20 years now (Hard to Believe!!) I'm looking forward to a great
2020-21 school year where wonderful MUSIC can be made!!!

MUSIC has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember!!! I enjoy listening to all kinds of music and can play piano, organ (am organist at Trinity United Methodist Church in Greeneville), baritone horn (was in band throughout middle school, high school, and college), and recently have been learning how to play ukulele.

I grew up in the small town of Pound, Virginia (population 900). I have three siblings (a sister and two brothers) and two wonderful parents.  Both of my parents and my sister were school teachers too! Teaching must run in the family!!
I consider myself very blessed to have such a supportive and caring family!!

I graduated from Pound High School, Pound, Virginia in May, 1995 and then went on to East Tennessee State University, Johnson City, Tennessee for my college education.  I received my Bachelor's of Music Education in May, 2000 from ETSU and began teaching here at Mosheim in August, 2000.

I have enjoyed teaching K-8 general music at Mosheim for the past 20 years and look forward to teaching music  grades K-5 here at Mosheim and McDonald this school year!!

Some things I enjoy for fun are:  playing golf, traveling (beach is my favorite), watching sports on t.v. (football, basketball are my favorites), going to music concerts.
